This article is for Moroccan lawyers creating or redesigning a website. Compliance with bar ethics comes before visibility tactics. LEGAL BASIS Law 28-08 organizes the legal profession. RIN Article 10 governs communication: advertising and client solicitation remain prohibited. The Rabat Bar's October 2025 statement extended this discipline to social media — websites follow the same rules. BAR DECLARATION Opening a site or making substantial changes (new domain, major content overhaul) should be reported to your bar council. Keep written proof of this step. DOMAIN NAME Use the lawyer or firm name. Generic domains for capture ("lawyer-casablanca.ma") are forbidden. ALLOWED CONTENT Institutional presentation, practice areas, single cabinet address, verifiable credentials, educational legal articles, sober contact forms. PROHIBITED OR RISKY Superlatives, competitor comparisons, identifiable client testimonials without consent, ad banners, result guarantees, improper outbound links.
